Helldivers 2 was one of the most requested layouts. It needs inputs for aim, fire, reload, interact, stratagems, weapon swaps, emotes, pings, stims, backpack, and the drop and weapon wheels. WECKmaster329 cracked it, and another owner who came back to the game confirmed it works well.

Layout breakdown

• D-pad stays stock: stratagem codes go on the WASD cluster, just like on PC keyboard and mouse.
• Index and middle: aim and fire.
• Ring: dive/crouch/prone and action.
• Pinky: stratagem and ping/communicate, which are used a bit less often.
• L3 and R3 aren't ideal given how often you use them, but this keeps face buttons in the best positions.

Tips

Helldivers 2 lets you bind tap, hold and long-hold actions separately, so you can stack two actions on one button. On PC, you can also use Steam Input to turn the face buttons into a D-pad while you hold the stratagem button, so you can keep running while you enter codes.

How to import a SWORL layout

1. Download the .json file above, or copy the code into a text file and save it with a .json extension.
2. Open the file in a text editor and change the "profile" value to the slot you want, minus one (Profile 1 = 0, Profile 5 = 4), so you don't overwrite an existing profile.
3. Open the SWORL configurator, connect your SWORL and import the file.
