Rematch plays like an arcade, third-person take on soccer where you control a single player, a little like Rocket League on foot. It's full of held modifiers and tricks, so the SWORL community built two layouts.

Layout 1: Josid

Josid first put passing and lob on the right-hand buttons, but holding sprint and modifiers strained the hand. Moving the face buttons to the left side of the controller gave each hand more rest, and it worked really well.

Layout 2: hiphopkido v1.2

• Stay in Defensive Stance (L2) with Dash/Tap easy to reach.
• Index and middle fingers rotate between the most-used buttons.
• Ball Call (R3) is comfortable for labbing (or being annoying).
• Left index rests on Lob and left middle on Tackle, since Dive is used less than both.
• Light Tap (Lob + Tap) stays accessible; Lob Light Tap (modifier + Lob + Tap) now uses both hands.

v1.2 replaces v1.1, which split ball control evenly across hands.

How to import a SWORL layout

1. Download the .json file above, or copy the code into a text file and save it with a .json extension.
2. Open the file in a text editor and change the "profile" value to the slot you want, minus one (Profile 1 = 0, Profile 5 = 4), so you don't overwrite an existing profile.
3. Open the SWORL configurator, connect your SWORL and import the file.
