Fortnite asks a lot of your hands: aim, fire, sprint, build, edit, swap and emote, often inside the same second. Community member Josid built this SWORL profile after a lot of time in Marvel Rivals, and it moves the high-traffic actions onto your strongest fingers so you can keep your right thumb on the aim dome.

How the layout works

• Left hand (D-pad cluster): Jump and crouch live on the movement hand, so jump-slides feel like one motion. Weapon next/previous sit on D-pad down and left, which frees your right hand to focus on aiming and shooting.
• Index finger: Fire and Sprint sit next to each other so you can trigger Fortnite's sprint burst to break away from a fight, with Reload and Inventory underneath.
• Middle finger: Aim (ADS) and Build. Build mode gets used constantly in traditional playlists, so it sits right beside the aim/fire pair.
• Ring finger: A duplicate weapon-swap and the emote wheel.
• Pinky: Pickaxe, placed slightly out of the way to avoid accidental presses, with Ping underneath.

Recommended in-game settings

If your middle finger gets tired holding aim, turn on Toggle Targeting in Fortnite's settings. Zero Build players can rebind the Build button to any other action they want close to hand.

How to import a SWORL layout

1. Download the .json file above, or copy the code into a text file and save it with a .json extension.
2. Open the file in a text editor and change the "profile" value to the slot you want, minus one (Profile 1 = 0, Profile 5 = 4), so you don't overwrite an existing profile.
3. Open the SWORL configurator, connect your SWORL and import the file.
