Elden Ring on the SWORL: Two Layouts for the Tarnished

Elden Ring is built around a small set of verbs (attack, roll, guard, skill, jump), but you press them hundreds of times an hour. Two SWORL owners shared profiles that put those verbs where your fingers already rest.
Layout 1: Josid
- Index: Right-hand light and heavy attacks. Swap which is on top depending on your weapon.
- Middle: Weapon Skill right beside your attack (for heavy skill users), with Use Item underneath for quick flasks.
- Ring: Left-hand actions and Interact.
- Pinky: Sprint/Roll and Lock-on. Your pinky rests on sprint while you explore, which makes rolling feel natural over long sessions.
- Left hand: Jump on D-pad up with Crouch underneath.
Layout 2: just_benj
A cleaner take that gives the Jump button (X/A) a prominent spot, since Elden Ring has a dedicated jump. It also works well as a starting point for the older Souls games, which is exactly how it was used for our Dark Souls 2 layout.
Tips
Elden Ring lets you remap most buttons in-game, so you can fine-tune either layout without touching the configurator. Try to keep Roll and Guard on different fingers so you can dodge while blocking.

- Download the .json file above, or copy the code into a text file and save it with a .json extension.
- Open the file in a text editor and change the
"profile"value to the slot you want, minus one (Profile 1 = 0, Profile 5 = 4), so you don't overwrite an existing profile. - Open the SWORL configurator, connect your SWORL and import the file.
