SWORL: A Controller for Players Who Can't Hold a DualSense
A standard gamepad like the DualSense asks a lot of your hands. You have to grip it, support its weight, hold your wrists at a fixed angle and reach triggers with your fingers curled underneath. For many players, whether because of hand size, grip strength, joint pain, fatigue or limited mobility, that's the part that makes gaming hard. Not the game itself.
The SWORL takes a different approach.
Nothing to hold
The SWORL rests flat on a table, desk or your lap. Your hands rest on top of it instead of wrapping around it. There's no grip to squeeze and no weight to support, and your fingers press straight down instead of curling to reach triggers.
Analog control without a stick
Most flat controllers can only do digital (on/off) inputs, which rules out a huge part of modern gaming. The SWORL's hall effect analog thumb domes give you true analog movement and camera control from a comfortable, flat position. Hall effect sensing is contactless, and you can adjust dome sensitivity right from the controller: hold Edit and press Left/Right to change levels.
Put every button where your hand wants it
Every button on the SWORL can be remapped. You can:
- Move trigger actions to the buttons your index and middle fingers naturally rest on.
- Shift the whole layout a column over for smaller hands.
- Keep frequent actions under your strongest fingers and rarely used actions out of the way.
- Save up to five profiles on the controller itself and switch between them with the Profile button, with no PC needed during play.
Our SWORL product guide walks through remapping, and the web configurator handles advanced settings.
Lighter-touch switches if you need them
The SWORL uses hot-swappable MX switches. If the stock switches take more force than is comfortable, you can swap in lighter switches without soldering. Here's how easy it is.
Plays the games you want, on the platform you have
The SWORL Multiconsole works on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC. The SWORL Basic covers Switch, Switch 2 and PC. Ready-made layouts for games like Monster Hunter Wilds, Marvel Rivals and shooters are on our blog, and more are shared in our Discord, so you don't have to build every layout from scratch.
